To get to the observation end-door the booth had to be partially removed. The table was taken out and the part of the booth in the way was cut out. The door was found to be wedged and welded in places but some careful cutting finally freed it up. The brake cabinet visible to the right of the end-door was found to be missing its doors but also to be mostly intact.
